Lao Tzu - How To Stop Trying Too Hard (Taoism)
In this video we will talk about how to stop trying too hard from the philosophy of Lao Tzu. Lao Tzu was an ancient Chinese philosopher who is known to be the founder of Taoism and the writer of Taoism’s most sacred text, the Tao Te Ching.
So with that in mind, here are 6 ways to stop trying too hard from the wisdom of Lao Tzu -
01. Practice the art of non doing
02. Balance your Yin and Yang energy
03. Embrace the void
04. Let Go of Attachments
05. Practice simplicity
06. Spend time in nature
We hope you enjoyed watching the video and hope this video, from the philosophy of Lao Tzu, helps you to stop trying too hard.
Taoism is a Chinese philosophy attributed to Lao Tzu which contributed to the folk religion of the people primarily in the rural areas of China and became the official religion of the country under the Tang Dynasty. Taoism is therefore both a philosophy and a religion. Taoism teaches to embrace wonder and the joy in living gracefully with style. Lao Tzu was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer who is known to be the founder of Taoism. He is also credited as the writer of Taoism’s most sacred text, the Tao Te Ching and his words can apply to people all over the world.

Lol. Nietzsche himself couldn't follow his prescriptions. The same way moral philosophers whose entire career is trying to work out how "we ought behave" cannot follow their own prescriptions. That's how shit really is. Integrate that and throw high-toned self-narrative out the window.

  • @RichardLucas

You can't watch a video and become a "free spirit". You cannot read a book and become a "free spirit". You either have a spark of nobility in you or you do not. You either crave intellectual autonomy even when your peers make demands of intellectual solidarity or you do not. If that doesn't exist in you, already, it doesn't matter what you read or watch. You either have the thing that makes a person seek to define themselves in their own terms or default to some inherited, legacy group identity. The majority of people who ever set eyes on this comment just don't have it and never will. Not my fault. Blame nature.
